I know you guys put in a lot of effort this term, but the results still didn't show it. You guys must understnad most of the subjects need practice..and we need to catch up on two terms worth of work so results might not come in that fast...but theres still the EOY..it counts 50% so there is still hope...honestly if you guys continue working like what you did this term we should be able to get into tower block....one week holidays next week...it might seem short..but its good to start early...

one suggestion though...is that dont overstress yourself...i did it before and it will kill you...fatigue for a few days and you might even fall sick..some pointers that i can share is basically fing your own learning style...(like blasting music in background etc) and make sure you take breaks...its important...but set a schedule..like after youy finish studying lets say 3 topics for bio then 1 dota game or something...taking breaks is important but make sure you work more than you play..

hope you guys will continue to persevere and not give up now just because the results aren't very good..

i finally see hope for the EOY exams and term 4

Dear students,

I have been receiving queries from students who are anxious to know
whether the ACE points for projects competition will be included for
exam exemption.

The answer is: YES.
Not just for internal projects competitions. It will also include
external projects competitions too.

After one test comes another
And history test mugging was a killer
i swear i would highlight all my notes now if it speeds up mugging....now i only do abt half...or until i fall asleep

and we realise there is another test for the sciences and math too

at least national day was a short break

NDP this year was not bad...i feel
but i still think the song sux
but at least that night i could sit in front of the TV with the air con turned on and watching the parade without thinking of anything else or feeling guilty cos not studying

OT outing the next day

and a bit of sunbun but who cares?
if not for it i wouldn't have lasted the weekend studying history

theres going to be long intervals between posts in this period....freakin busy...

a lot of things happened last week (the usual, tests assignments etc)

experienced first below-par result too...but at least this time theres a retest with no cap...i noe pple are saying why go for retest when already A1..but i have my reasons. I set myself goals and i will push myself to attain them. Honestly i dun really care about MSG le..i just want to improve my previous term's score i i won't stop until i do so. So 3ners will see me at the chem retest on wed...

Wierd things happened at home last week too. My mum was scared i overstressed myself and kept reminding me to sleep and dun study so much, saying slip once in a while is ok...but heres the catch. If i screw up then confirm will kena scolding le. So much for being ok if slip once in a while. And i really hate it sometimes when you feel your parents are more concerned with everyone else's performance then yours. Or they focus on the few marks that you didn't get, when you got the majority of the marks. It like:

me: i got 36/38 for physics test

mum: wheat happened to the 2 marks?

me: -.-

mum: how did the rest of the class fare?

please lar...give your son some credit for getting close to full marks can?

I also encountered an interesting scene in popular of wednesday... there was a little kid (p3-p5 i think) telling his dad he needs an eraser, then points to those more expensive ones. Then his dad is like why do you need such an expensive one when its just an eraser, then told the son to buy a cheaper one. They argued for a while, the son saying something like everyone else was using it or something...in the end they took the expensive one...and they went to argue over pens >.<

its really wierd. a kid as young as that is already so materialistic. It might be a small thing...but hoestly its happening. One good example is my sis. At such a small age they already start to want to be like "everybody else" and the want to look "cool". sigh. So much for being yourself. It happens at the secondary school stage, but at primary school, i honestly didn't believe it. I mean when we were in primary school, did we really care if someone had an ipod or soemthing? Gaming machine maybe, but such "cool" stuff? if it happens in p6 maybe still believeable...but at p3-p5?

Somehow i dun noe why but whenever it comes to chinese the mood changes. Its been like that for 3 years...since sec 1. Even though its out mother tongue and we have to use it(and also with all that talk about china being a rising power chinese would be useful in the future), i dun noe whether is it just me...but a majority of the pple i noe dun like chinese. And we are chinese. Chinese is like part of our culture and stuff...but somehow due to our overuse of english it seems to be neglected. And maybe becos chinese is harder. Or that we have a brilliant english teacher who is "young", "handsome" and owes some pple MUN photos. Hmm.

41st National schools judo championship prelims was held yesterday and today...at RI....went to support...

yay..all the teams got into finals! c boys b boys a boys a girls....

This year competition dam zhai...c boys RI got edged out by St Gabriel...so we will be meeting SG in finals for c boys...but b boys and a boys still meeting RI and RJC

Fri:
OT DINNER!!! Food was great. Everything was great. It just felt great when the OT (almost everyone) got together again. Sigh. Now to wish it would happen more often.
SLC seems to have left its mark. I can't seem to motivate myself to mug too long. After abt 1hour (or when my playlists reaches collide/home/i'm yours/six songs collide/etc) then my my would start to drift. Sigh.

Weekend:
My weekend was spent creating pday website. And trying to figure out java. Finished homework b4 the weekend started...so had more time to sleep...lol

back from OTC camp
didn't get time to post cos i was freakin sleepy
and the next day had judo too

OTC camp was fun...but could be better if there wasn;t training b4 and after it...

met at 6pm (first camp that i noe that starts so late)...went to labrador park for night activities...basically some games and a night trail....must really thank TC for carrying mark solo for 200m...on his own... as zech guided me and cyril...who were both blindfolded..

The next day was just games games games.

one of the activities was to build the tallest enclosed structure with some materials...so our group (me TC cyril zech mark - our team totally pwned) combined with another group and this was our magnificent structure

whee...it won us 1st place too...

Went to sch to do lit homework today...ended up exceed work limit by 1k words

Then went to play soccer with the facs.... They were freakin high...and soccer was damn funny(esp wif the girls' screaming etc)... And believe or not, we were all wowed by Yuhui's sheer brilliance on the street soccer court.

12slc has a super tall OS that owns in basketball, so yuhui, what sport are u uber pro in? Soccer seems possible.

13 SLC has changed my life...New experiences, New friends, a new me...it is definitely somehting i will remember for life...

Looking back at SLC...at the tears i shed during grand finale..SLC has been the greatest part of my life so far...and it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me...The last time i got so emotional was the end of akltg advance...but even then...the emptyness and nostalgia never set in...Sadly...we cant turn back the time...and we all have to move on with our daily lives of homework and more homework and even more homework...

Prevention of suicide in youth consortium..you guys rocked...i couldn;t have asked for a better consort...and congrats on the brilliant action paper....i didn't get to talk to u guys after grandfinale but i really hope you guys continue to keep in contact with ur teammates and consortium mates and facs too...and rmb...the ideas in the action paper will still remain ideas until the next step is taken....to implement them...thats when you would really make an impact on society...as the saying goes...action speaks louder than words...

To the facs...you guys were great...high...enthu...you guys are one great bonded group...and great job on all the days and for fac performance too...special thanks to all the suicidal facs......and zackie too...i forgot to thank u during closing ceremony...sry and thnx again...

To the OT...you guys ROCK!!! 6 months of hard work...1 awesome convention.....we are one big h(ot) family now...must stay in contact forever ok?...To the admin duo(minus OS)...you guys got i could say the most solo jobs...no one to cheer u on...and your efforts often go unnoticed(though not really for the money part)..but you guys did a great job...

To concept...6 months...of brainstorming...of churning info papers...of chairing...all boiled down to the four days on convention...the advisors said it...we were the CRAZIEST, FUNNEST, MOST BONDED CONCEPT EVER AND WE ROCKED 13SLC!!! well..that preety much sums up what i got to say..i would really like to thank you guys for everything...SLC had changed my life totally...I would rmb you guys 4eva...

To the OS..yuhui...thanks for everything..you are a great chairperson am i am sure everyone in the OT would agree...on a more personal note...i would really like to thank u for ur support and help regarding my issue with my parents...it really helped me alot and i really appreciate it...

sabbats was dam fun...guitar....after first two days finger uber pain....then after that numb le...so cant feel anything...

for the performance on the last day...was supposed to pluck gu dan bei ban qiu...which surprisingly we managed to without screwing up...end up the drummers from the drum sabbats went off beat....and had to use us to get back on track...also played the jian dan ai...which we werent supposed to play but we played it anywayz...

Hols ending soon...getting busier and busier...haiz........

finished IAG advance on Monday...really fun...(ask bing if u want to know what is it) . We named our group Uno, and conincedentally we were also group one....so....three guys and three girls in a grp...i was youngest...lol...

The camp started on Saturday...i knew no one at camp...then i was approached by another guy and wah la....frenz le...in five minutes....so in this way i knew two guys, jian wen and harold (aka harotty)...then they said a group needs to have girls as well...so this group of three girls approached the three of us and the group was done....in under ten minutes....

lol...the first day was more of lectures and stuff...then we pick the coaches....We were bidding for eugene and kyrie..and ended up bidding 55000 push-ups..which we never completed...well...

Day two was much different...we went outdoors..and it was RAINING...so there was lots of mud ...water...and mud...we got to play hide and seek in the forest...those who got caught had to roll in the mud...hiding between a termite nest and a tree.....almost didn't get caught...until about ten minutes from the end...haiz.....nevermind....in the end half of our group survived....lol...

then it rained...and rained...and rained...so by the time we got back to the training room it was about 4-5...went to shower.......

that night was the most terrifying night of the camp...they make you imagine out of everyone in the camp, only 5 can survive...everyone was given five straws...which you can keep one for youself or give to others....they represent who you would want to save...the coaches then bring you around the room...if you dun give a person a straw..it is representing that ur killing him...dam depressing...the coaches then tekan you if you dun give camp leaders, if you do then they tekan u never give ur group mates...if never keep for yourself also tekan you...haiz....

Day three was totally indoors(yay!) played games(with injuries) and etc etc...then there was a marketing game..you wan the details ask me on msn.....well overall our group was SUPERB....we were there yo support each other and ultimately pulled through as a group....

Finally...in the mood to post again...haiz..

holidaes are here....but feel so sianz.....

lets start from the beginning..

Melbourne:

melbourne is a damn zhai place...dam nice weather...nice pple too...its like you can feel the warmth of the sun AND the coolness of the breeze at the same time...it was the perfect time to go...

left on the night of chinese compo exam...took singapore airlines....it was a midnight filght...so i expected only one meal on board...but who noes...they served supper...

was about the fall asleep when the air stewardess woke me up to ask whether i wanted supper....so i took it...then after that dun feel like sleeping anymore so watch a bit of movie...paly a bit...when i finally got round to sleeping...in less the half an hour i was woken again...for BREAKFAST...and i had the no disturb sign on...haiz...

anyway...we reached the service apartment, unpacked...slack awhile...then go uni le...we had three geog teachers leading the way...and we got LOST...and we had a map too....haiz...

the uni was nice..big..had its own bookshop too...

next day...

had on the spot writing competition...teamed up with a guy and a gal from aussie...and we started writing a story on healthcare access...i wont post it here cos i think it sucks...lol...anw all three stories were supposed to be coherent..

then...SLACK! lol...went to town...shopped a bit...dinner was at a chinese/vietnamese noodle restaurant...and the teachers treated us...lol..the noodles were nice....and the portions were DAM big...like 4 times the HCI one...

anw last day...got prize presentation...and guess what? i didn't win! i expected it though..with my HCJC partner and pple in a category lower than me but older...i expected it ...but got my silver medal for singapore round anyway...felt nice getting it..lol...and sylvester was triple champ...congratz to him...i still got 3-4 years to go again..in the SAME category..lol....might go again next year

so last day...slack a bit...nothing much then took a flight home...yay...but next day was results day...lol

hurrah!!! second year not celebrating childrens day!!....lol

been mugging these few days......completed the history and geog syllabus twice....uber bored...

just gave julian a couple of pokes in pokemon crater....anyone else from 2N playing? i got tons to give away...

oh ya...sometin interesting happened yesterday..

yesterday was my mums bday...so we went out for dinner....at SHANG-RI LA...was like..OMG..

the food was dam ex...but thats not the main part...

we were sitting next to a caucasian(is that how you spell it?) couple....the lady ordered singapore chicken rice (O_0) and when the waiter was giving her the fork and spoon...she asked for CHOPSTICKS!!! was like...omg....cos my sis cant even use a chopstick properly....and guess what..the lady finished the chicken rice with only the chopsitck!!! NO SPOON...wow...

so then our dinner came...i ordered fish and chips....etc..etc...then after dinner something else happened...

the waiter came to collect the dishes...then accidentally dropped a fork.....which i caught before it hit the floor...the waiter was apologising with some embarrassed look on his face and he went the the buffet( we ate a la carte) and dipped some fruits into chocolate findue and gave it to us!!! He said it was complemetary dessert on the house....

great service i must say.....luckily he dropped the fork too...lol...

zachary was running with the ball...hunagji putting pressure on him from behind...i cut in front of zach....got the ball....then huangji slide zach...zach evaded and it hit ME!!!

nvm....got my revenge later....i was clearing the ball then ram straight into his face....lol...

afternoon....pday grandfinals...

GOH usher really sian....event start liao just keep stoning until GOH arrive...usher to audi...then sit next to them!!! the projects were dam zhai...in the end a sec 4 solo effort won...ushering them down to refreshments...suddenly GOH say he gtg liao...so usher him to the car then he drive off...lol...poor wenhao...GOH never take reception...lol

and i still had piano after that...

Saturday
morning has YSC...very de boring....end up playing pokemon crystal...porojects were okay...but very fast get sianz...tea break was good though...lol..then go beauty world for awhile...send dai off to his piano lesson...the parents fetch me home...

less than an hour later go MRT to go city hall..18 of the 26 in the class was there!!!..then go eaat dinner...some eat bk some eat MOS burger....then loiter around the walk to victoria theatre...

the accapella performance was damn zhai....no instruments....it ownz.....mebbe we can do that for ispark nite..it was dam nice...i want to see again..lolz...

reach home 11 plus....dam tired....

yay! hols are over!!!

back to school...finally... first period lss...tanhc teaching physics....go lab...then realise network down and projector spoil and no time so he just ran through some slides....dam slack...but we will get to play with electrical circuits soon...so lets just wait...

maths after that and guess what....we did not have the presentations ready...whole class wasn't prepared...lucky she didn't flare up....anw once reach home i pia this...

recess went to play soccer...dam fun...finally get to play after so long...performance not bad...couple of assissts but no goals....nvm..i'll improve

lit was the best...network down so KC cant do anything so we slack for one whole lesson...EL after that and we discussed a compre which i flunked....same score as yyy though...then CHINESE. limne at reservists so we got new teacher...yu lao shi....talk so soft cant hear properly...bh try to AP her she just AP him back...haiz...cant wait for limne to get back..

we spent IS slacking...play com...try to help julian catch registeel to no avail...realise my form kena spammed.....

after school and after meeting mrs yong for slc we had dance performance!!! it was cool...fun...damn funny too...the dance is actually dam simple but co-ordination is tough....anw auditions on wed so time to pia dance rehersals!!!!

sry never post yesterdae...too many things to do liao...

yesterday morning my dad fetched me to bouna vista mrt to wait for my other judo friends then go sjf together....turn out one hour early....only at 8+ then everybody come...and david forgot to bring yellow belt somemore...

the kaijian and yaohui led the way to sjf...in the end...we got ....LOST!!!! so we kept walking and walking 9+ then reach...worst still...on the way a bus with nygh pple and fajar pple sped past us....damn embarrassing.

grading was ok until shiai...they say fight two bouts need to win two bouts!!!! that means more than half would fail...in the end i draw one win one...but they still let all those with one win pass anyway...lolz

later went plaza sing to eat....then go home!!

later in the day went driving range with my cousin and my dad....was aiming to get my shot into tha basket like i did last week but i just didn't want to get in...bounced of the rims a couple of times too...damn sad...

oh ya...and liverpool lost 3-0....T.T

anyways....i got piano lesson soon so i gtg...might post again later if i got time...

Monster House...RoAR!

couldn't post yesterday..no time....was doing IS in the morning....got too fed up ...then wen to watch movie yay!

anw...the IS project really killing me...i just cant get it to work...even with the help of ZC and delikhu still cannot...haiz...so far i think only tiamseng finished it... but then again since its PHP so cant kope code T.T

we went to watch movie after that at J8...wanted to watch akeelah and the bee but turned out no timeslot so we went to watch Monster House... nice show...abt a nutty old man and his house-wife.....not housewife but a HOUSE that has his wife's soul...preety cool storyline...lots of twists..nice humour...overall nice movie...

one bad point...the movie was a bit unrealistic...i mean...three kids battle a monster house that finally it uproots itself and starts chasing after the kids into a construction site and the kids blow the house up by throwing dynamite through the chimmney....and guess what....no one in the neighbourhood notices it!!! its like the streets are empty..no one at all...

anw today need to finish that IS project... so sad cannot go class outing today T.T..nvm...might get to play maple later...

Woke up this morning with a headache... lol

anw this year sept hols uber boring...maths homework finish liao, IS project dunno how to do, emily of emerald hill also read twice liao.... *sigh*

not allowed to play com... cant wait to get onto maple, need to find that unfinished job scroll thats eluding me...

lot's of stuff happenning this few days on the www, for the class that is...people defaming others...i wont post details here...

need to go pick my sis from school soon, she got chess enrichment...

she actually beat her trainer (or so she claims) and came home yesterday challenging me.

results - ownage(by me, of course =P) she got thrashed even with me playing WITHOUT a queen... lol....either the trainer was giving chance or he was reallllly bad.

anw... so sian now i am doodling on a piece of paper....

i find life so ironical....during school term you just cant wait for hols...during hols you just cant wait for the chool term to start...
